After the Wilson X Connected Basketball debuted last year, “smart” sports equipment is becoming more and more common — from balls to smart watches to smart footwear. Now, the sports equipment brand has it’s newest toy: the Wilson X Connected Football.
This smart football, along with its smart app, will measure peak velocity, distance, spin rate, “spiral efficiency,” and many other statistics. It goes on sale on September 8 for $200 but you can preorder it now and receive Madden ’17 for free via Wilson.
