The Nike Zoom Freak 5 just might be the best Giannis Antentoukoumpo signature we have had to date. The Freak 5 does away with the visible Zoom units in the forefoot of the shoe, which adds stability and responsiveness to the shoe. The Zoom Freak 5 is a very simple shoe in terms of tech and overall design, but it will offer above-average on-court. Read the full review.
Nike Zoom Freak 4
The Nike Zoom Freak 4 boasts two large Zoom Air pods in the forefoot, making for a comfortable ride up front. The Phylon midsole also curves up the midfoot section to offer a supportive feel. The sole is semi-decoupled, which helps with mobility, but players that generate a lot of torsional force might run into problems.
The strap from the Nike Zoom Freak 3 was replaced by a midsole extension on the lateral side to provide additional support. The best Giannis shoe to date and one of the best value basketball shoes. Read the full review.

The New Balance TWO WXY V3 improves on the already great New Balance TWO WXY V2. The traction looks to be the most promising, potentially packing Nike Kobe 9-level performance. Nike LeBron 20
The Nike LeBron 20 was one of the most hyped LeBron James basketball shoes ever, and it really did live up to the expectations. It was our top basketball shoe pick of last season. The LeBron 20 offers elite-level traction and amazing cushioning. The midsole is full-length Cushlon with a forefoot Zoom Turbo unit and an additional standard heel Zoom Air unit in the heel. Nike Air Zoom GT Jump
The Nike GT Jump, Nikola Jokić’s shoes, is just a really solid basketball shoe. The Nike GT Jump had the beefiest cushioning of last season, herringbone traction that works well, all encased in a sturdy high-top package, that somehow remains lightweight. Jordan Luka 1
The Jordan Luka 1 was highly rated by our team, and that’s saying a lot. Luka Doncic and the Jordan design team did well on this one. Jordan Brand used the Luka 1 to introduce its newest foam: Formula 23. Even though most colorways use translucent rubber, mainly to show the latest tech, the traction still performed well indoors. Outdoors, however, it was less than stellar. Support is an obvious priority, with the IsoPlate system acting as torsional support while beefing up lateral support. adidas DON Issue 4
The adidas DON Issue 4 is a good shoe for those who love stability. The cushion is definitely more reactive than plush, making it stable; a substantial shank plate and a broad base contribute to its overall feel. The traction performed well on outdoor settings despite it being mostly translucent rubber. The upper is Jacquard, that’s both light and durable. Going true to size is recommended. Nike Kyrie Infinity
The Nike Kyrie 8 is amazing, and the best shoe in Kyrie’s signature line, alongside the Kyrie 6. The shoe offers a perfect blend of cushioning and low-profile performance, which makes you wonder why Nike doesn’t use the same setup in every Kyrie shoe. The shoe features a large volume forefoot Zoom strobel unit and another standard unit in the heel. On top of that, you get excellent lockdown and some really great premium materials along the upper. The shoe is like a less clunky version of the Jordan 13, which is high praise. For less than 80 bucks, they are currently the best cheap basketball shoes. Read the full review.
Air Jordan 37 Low
The Air Jordan 37 Low is a shoe that most people are waiting for, especially with the Grant Williams mishap with the Air Jordan 37. The biggest difference is not just the collar height, but the upper materials as well. There is still the thin Lenoweave for breathability, but it has been paired with lots of neoprene so it doesn’t tear easily. The cushion remains the same with a combination of Zoom Air and Formula23 foam.
Nike PG 5
The Nike PG 5 are bad boys (our term for great performing shoes). Great traction. Materials that actually work in containing one’s foot. Added support features. And a comfortable fit.
