The hype is real! With King James coming off a Campionship win, and with a slew of sneaker free agents, we won’t be surprised to see some fellow NBA players rock his signature line like we’ve seen in the past. We previously showed you the official look at the Nike Zoom Witness, however, you can get your hands on a pair now.
Now that we’ve got a better picture and understanding of the shoe, it’s safe to say that with the XDR traction, these should withstand any outdoor and indoor condition. XDR rubber is utilized on mainly outdoor basketball shoes so that they don’t wear down as quickly — a technology popular in Asia and Europe due to their outdoor courts. While this is great news, it’s still disappointing that this shoe doesn’t have full-length or heel and forefoot Zoom Air units for cushioning.
Will the Zoom Witness be “Hall of Fame?” Well, you’ll just have to wait and see…

What do you think of the Nike Zoom Witness? Do you think Swoosh made a good decision to bring over an XDR Rubber traction model? Sound off down in the comments below.
You know, I am often tickled when I read comments like “it is too bad that the shoe does not feature heel and forefoot zoom air, ” but perhaps Nike knows that the sig bearer, the person this shoe is supposedly made for, does not want that system for said shoe? I mean it is bad enough that he has a tough time wearing his shoes anyway…
The Nike Lebron Ambassador 8, out-performs his signature line and Soldier line(last yr and this years) hands down. And the Ambassador featured Heel and Forefoot zoom with XDR Traction with lower to same price point. Just seems strange you can do that on an overseas model, but can’t do the same for the US. More of a regression on a next sig bearing model. 70% design/materials aspect is taken from the Ambassador. I agree and it’s regression of company if the individual can’t wear his own shoe.
We in asia appreciated this much!!
Nice
All mid range shoe should have at least asia version (XDR / outdoor)
