Supposedly, the NXT stands for “next”. At least, that’s what a Nike Store employee told me.
I’m not sure if it’s true or not, but that’s what I was told. Either way, the Nike Kobe A.D. NXT is the literal next version of the shoe and they’ve been treating me well on-court.
This detailed look and review was recorded prior to me playing in them, but you can still see my initial impression of the shoe along with a detailed look and sizing information. If you wanted updates on the shoes performance then you can follow me, along with our other testers, on Instagram. Most of us post updates throughout the wear-testing.
In the meantime, let us know what you think of the Nike Kobe A.D. NXT. Are you a fan of the aesthetics? Price much too high for todays competitive market? Sound off in the comment section with your thoughts and stay tuned for the upcoming performance review.
Last time I checked you can get both colorways at Footlocker for 20% off with code “SPRING”
Nice! Will be even better once the shoe itself is discounted a bit with additional coupons lol.
That’s what I’m waiting for.
Shoe looks legit, don’t own a pair but hoping to! Waiting in the performance review so I can determine to buy them or not!
Very intrigued as I initially thought this was a lifestyle shoe. Hope they drop in darker colors.
They do look gorgeous except the shroud. I have never been a fan of shroud on any sneakers from GP Gloves to Jordan flagship with shrouds like the 29 and the one that looks like a fencing mask.
On a side note, are Kobe Icons lifesyle or bball shoes?
Burlington and Marshalls now carry them btw.
basketball. on the otherhand, I’m not surprised that they would end there and in outlets. they look hideous. I have seen them a couple of months back before footlocker pulled them off the shelves. they just weren’t selling.
