To accompany the recent BETRUE collection, BIKETOWN will feature two styles of rainbow wraps on sneaker bikes.
The city of Portland and Nike currently partner for the city’s bike share program, BIKETOWN (of which Nike is the title sponsor).
Fifty specially wrapped BIKETOWN bikes will feature rainbow designs, half with a white background and the other half with a grey background. According to Nike, these bikes will be ridden or walked by community leaders during Portland’s Pride Parade on June 18 and will continue to navigate the streets of Portland thereafter.
In the sneaker bike collaboration, Nike helped forge the identity of sneaker bikes with the orange sneaker box. With the addition of these special wrapped bikes, Nike expands its BETRUE collection in commitment to supporting the LGBTQ+ community and inclusion in physical activity.
