Back in October we reported that one of Nike’s most coveted runners from the ’80s, the Air Span 2, would be back in 2018. Now, we’ve got images of several upcoming colorways.
According to Sneakers Addict, the Nike Air Span saw its first release in 1988 and a second model came around 1900/1991. The 2018 retro will sport original colorways from both models like White/Grey/Black-Blue and White/Steel Grey/Black-Yellow, as well as new builds like White/Grey-Bordeaux.
There are even rumors of a Patta collab on the Air Span 2 retro for 2018, according to K’LEKT.IN.
While those initial images were edited to represent upcoming colorways, we now have official images. The silhouette looks super clean, and pretty true to its original. These seven colorways have something for nearly everyone, and flaunt both contemporary and classic looks.
While no official price for the 2018 Nike Air Span 2 retro is known yet, keep your eyes open at European retailers if you’ve been waiting for this sneaker to return.
