The Nike Air Max 270 React combined two of Nike’s latest and greatest cushioning systems. The 270 React ENG version gives a refreshing new look to the model without changing much of anything.
Nike’s new Air Max cushioning units found in the Air Max 270 and Air Max 720 are extremely comfortable. However, Nike’s React is also extremely comfortable. Combining the two is either crazy or genius. Perhaps, its crazy genius.
My only real gripe with the Air Max 270 React was the material choices. I understand that the materials were meant as a tribute to old school runners and the types of materials they once used, but I’m not a huge fan of the felt thing. The ENG rendition removes all of the thin felt/fuse material and replaces it with a molded micro mesh. This looks better (just my opinion, of course) and gives the shoe’s build a bit more depth and layers.
