After more than 2 decades, the return of the Air Command Force was exciting for many in 2014. Nike isn’t shying away from providing a few brand new colorways, and none are as loud as this upcoming red pair.
All-red sneakers were all the rage in 2014, and Nike continues to fuel that fire. A tonal colorway looks good on this model, and things are kept interesting with the super high cut and the different materials used on the panels throughout. White accents are well-placed and add contrast throughout. The speckle/splatter pattern on the looks fairly subdued on this pair compared to some of the other releases. One of the most exciting aspects of this retro has been the inclusion of a working air pump mechanism, which is just another cool feature.
Look for these to hit US retailers in early 2015, with some rumors indicating a possible late-January release. Stick with Weartesters for more information on these. Let us know what you think of these Command Force sneakers below.
These or the Columbia 4s?
I’m only getting 1 of em.
These will last longer. I’m getting these
I hope Nike fixes the pump quality on these and makes the 180 Double pumps retros. Man that shoe was a classic.
I’ve heard a lot of people complaining about the pump, but I had no issues with my pair. I wonder if there was a problem with a few batches or something. Also, I would hope that this indicates a return of the Air Force 180 Pump in the near future. The pump mechanisms were slightly different, but hopefully similar enough that Nike already has most of the tooling ready to go. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
Hypebeasts??? No it’s ok you guys can come out. Here’s more “heat” for you guys. Smh
If these are good enough to take on-court, I’d love to see Anthony Davis play in these.
How much will these be?
Any review about the “Washed Denim” edition?
