Due to its price and availability, this shoe has been coming to people’s feet everywhere — especially in the Bay. Now, thanks to Fastpass, the New Balance 247 has been deconstructed.
Fastpass has broken the sneaker down, separated the upper from the shoe’s tooling, and measured everything. The New Balance 247 Fastpass chopped had an upper comprised of engineered mesh, neoprene, and some foam padding. Depending on the build you pickup, the materials will differ — there are 247 collabs with premium suede, some leather builds, etc.
New Balance used its low-density lightweight REVLITE for cushioning and it is broken down in the images below. As you can probably tell from the deconstruction, this isn’t a runner — it’s a lifestyle model meant for casual wear.
You can grab the New Balance 247 for as low as $65 at Eastbay.com in a variety of colors.
