New city, new shoe — it’s time for Dwyane Wade to start his roll in Chitown and hit the court in the Way of Wade 5.
Yes, it has really been five years since he wore the Jumpman and began his line with the Chinese giant. Every version of his signature is an evolution of materials and design by Eric Miller. We brought a first look at the WoW 5 a few weeks ago and the silhouette stays at the mid-to-low height with mesh and synthetic overlays — and look at the carbon fiber!
Now we know when we can get our hands on them: October 8, 2016. As for pricing, well, no idea yet, but last year we saw $180 so it should be in that range. As far as availability, again, if last year is a sign, a few US shops may get some, but mostly overseas options will be the go-to (Sunlight Station in Australia is a good one). So far, only the yellow colorway has been seen, but you can bet a number of Bulls and special date colorways will be coming.
As always, leave nice words below.
I don’t know how they will perform but aesthetically they look decent enough.
Takes me back to 90’s designs and that’s a good thing.
+1. These definitely have a 90s vibe. I hope they’ll make like a limited ed. leather version.
