Eugene ‘Pooh’ Jeter has is own PE of the Li-Ning Speed that he wore during the Ukraine’s pool game against team USA.
Unless your a Sacramento Kings fan, you probably don’t know about Eugene Jeter. He is currently killing it in China for the Shandong Lions averaging 24.6 points per game, and has a sneaker deal with Li-Ning. He is a feisty player that has a lot of energy, which he showcased in his most recent game against team USA. For international basketball he plays for the Ukraine, which is coached by the Czar Mike Fratello, as the one nationalized player FIBA allows for every team (so no, he is not Ukrainian by blood).
The Li-Ning Speed most likely uses Li-Ning’s Bounse technology, and the partial mid-foot straps should provide great lockdown and fit. A synthetic upper uses a mesh underlay that should provide decent breathability without sacrificing durability. Another great feature of the Li-Ning Speed is its external heel cup that helps with heel lock down, and from the picture below looks fairly pliable and not restrictive. Overall its great to see more from Li-Ning and models like this create diversity in the basketball performance market.
Only guy for Ukraine that wasnt playing like a deer in the headlights….good for him
lol, they played good for a half. Then the wrath of god that is Kenneth Faried slammed down upon them.
this seems like a rip off of kd v
True, but that was a good model.
Hyperdunk 2013.
KD V??
I know of him because he had ties to the pdx
from looks standpoint, its a bit similar to the KD-5, especially that heel cup.. 🙂
the collar is very kd5-esque, too
