The new kid on the block, Lane Eight, has just launched its latest colorway of the Trainer AD 1.
LANE EIGHT is the relatively new guy in town, just having released its first shoe, the Trainer AD 1, in three colorways this past summer. They took notes from us everyday athletes and went back to the drawing board. With that we now have, not only a new colorway, but also a lighter shoe overall — lighter on our feet and our wallets.
The new Trainer AD 1 is now out in ‘Carbon Black’. Something that we can all appreciate as we are in the midst of this fall weather. It also features a newly developed lightweight EVA foam midsole. This new EVA foam gives LANE EIGHT the capability of playing with more colors, something the old compound they were working with did not. (I think we’ll see some fun colorways come spring time… Fingers crossed!) But, don’t worry. Just because the shoe is now lighter than ever doesn’t mean they sacrificed comfort. It’s still there. This is a company that has put in the time to bring a product to the people that they are truly proud of. Tons of man hours was put into wear-testing all of the materials that brought together this finished product.
With this new and improved model we get the added bonus of a new price point. While most companies seem to be constantly pushing its products dollar value upward, LANE EIGHT actually was able to scale back. You can now grab any of the four colorways for $140 at LaneEight.com in both mens and women’s sizes. Previously priced at $160. Not too bad.
Have you tried out LANE EIGHT yet? If you haven’t make sure to check out Duke4005’s performance review here. They really are a shoe that can do almost anything.

looks good as it is, although it could’ve been better without the lunarlon looking midsole.
