Jimmy Jazz has been gaining ground in New York, opening new store after new store. They’ve gone up and down the Hudson River, opening stores in each big mall alongside the river. With almost twenty stores in New York City alone, Jimmy Jazz’s expansion really shows the sneaker boom of recent years. In the past week alone, Jimmy Jazz has opened two more stores in New York State. The first is in New Hartford and the second is located in Rochester. I have always found that purchasing from Jimmy Jazz online was much more advantageous than buying in-store due to the fact that there is much more selection and better discount opportunities. However, Jimmy Jazz has had grand opening discounts at new store locations in the past.
It is a well-known fact that there is far too much brick and mortar retail per person living in the U.S.. This has lead to large chains like Macy’s, JC Penny, and Sears closing their doors and resorting to their online shops for a larger percentage of their sales.
