By now you’ve probably seen the shoes in the 2015 Doernbecher x Nike Freestyle collection but the journeys these kids have gone through is also available to view.
The Oregon Health and Science University, aka OHSU (the parent company of Doernbecher) released all of the stories the six kids went through including their diagnoses and their paths to designing their very own Nike shoes.
Check out all of the videos below. If you want, you can also read more about their stories over at the OHSU site. Furthermore, you can donate to Doernbecher by clicking HERE.
John Charles – Jordan 13 Retro

Those Grubbs are hot. I hope those children get all the funding they need. Great cause and great article from Shoelander.
I agree, thanks for the constant support Nate.
Great cause and awesome shoes/hoodies/etc. I’d buy all of it if I could. And I wish that Sasquatch riding a Unicorn shirt was available in mens colors/sizes cuz that girl is friggin creative.
