The Air Jordan 13 takes inspiration from the Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Tiffany’ with the upcoming ‘Island Green’ edition.
Take the Island Green name with a huge grain of salt as that is what the sneaker blogs have dubbed the model, but the color is very clearly a Tiffany Dunk inspired look.
It is strange that the Air Jordan 13 would pay tribute to the popular Nike SB model, but its a nice colorway with a decent execution. Materials should be better for the $200 price tag, but there are some premium feeling touches to the shoe such as the metal Jumpman logo and rear emblem.
For those interested, the Air Jordan 13 ‘Island Green’ are currently scheduled to release on November 9, 2019 for $200.
Additionally, I was mistaken with the tech specs on the original Air Jordan 13. I’ve spoken about the tech specs on the original Air Jordan 13 many times throughout the last ten years and this is the first time I gave the wrong specs on the AJ13. Not sure why, I guess I’m just getting old. Sorry about any confusion!
