Lionel Messi has long been considered one of the beautiful game’s most deadly and agile players, while Roberto Firmino is considered one of the best rising stars in the English Premiere League. So, what cleat will meet the high standards of these pros? That shoe is the Nemeziz.
Today, adidas released its new Nemeziz line of soccer cleats to compliment its current models, the Ace and X. With a wide range of builds for playing on the pitch, in the cage, or on the street, the Nemeziz allows for players of all backgrounds to join in.
With an added focus on security, adaptability, and support, adidas is introducing what it calls the “AgilityBandage.” The AgilityBandage features “TORSIONTAPES,” a technology that aids in fit and lockdown. Also included is a dual-lock collar that should keep the ankle secure and help players move freely and quickly.
The cleat also features a “TorsionFrame” outsole that sheds weight and “TorsionRibs” that aid in push-off support, a necessity when it comes to agile players. Additionally, adidas is also introducing AgilityKnit 2.0, a lightweight upper that utilizes an interlocking yarn structure.
For those cage and street players, do not fear: both the cage and street versions will also feature TorsionTapes as well as the AgilityKnit 2.0 technology so that even the most agile players on the street can get the same feeling that they would on the pitch.
The adidas Nemeziz soccer cleat is available now on adidas.com and adidas retail stores for $320 and $225 for the pitch versions, $200 for the indoor version, $130 for the street version, and $80 for the turf version.
