adidas D Rose Englewood 2

I wasn’t a fan of the original D Rose Englewood but the adidas D Rose Englewood 2 looks like a beast.

The Next Gen PureMotion is in place along with an upper that is fairly reminiscent of the D Rose 4.5 but isn’t so similar that it just looks like a low. I don’t see a SprintFrame in place but that collar padding and lining looks great and comfortable. No word on when or where these will release at this time but stay tuned for updated information as it comes.

In the meantime, what are your thoughts on the latest Englewood model?

    1. I never liked the look of the toe on the 1.5 and I usually never care about a shoes looks for performance but that was one shoes that really bugged me. I wish I grabbed the 1 though… major regret there.

  1. they are available already in europe… I was actually wondering why there wasn’t any info or a review on these here while browsing an online shop 😉 and the price isn’t that bad either 🙂

  2. I seen these about a month ago http://www.global.adidas.com/D-ROSE-ENGLEWOOD-II-Synthetic-%281%29/G99334_530,en_NG,pd.html?cgid=Basketball-Shoes and they dont have any for sale internationally yet either but Im guessing around late winter early spring you should see new marketing campaigns for their new BB line-up all of them have that animal/zebra/fish print SPRINTweb upper they’ve been doing this with their running, accessories, and some clothing and now made their way to BB and I don’t notice any heel cup either and my personal opinion from wearing shoes with no external heel cup is that the lock-down is suspect, I dont want a heel cup that’s tearing my achilles apart when i cut either but I still need lock-down back there and hopefully there is sometype of torsional support

  3. I think my only worry would be heel lockdown, but I would love to try that pure motion outsole on a low. Upper looks pretty nice too

  4. first off I like the look of these and think adidas has done a great job w/ the Rose line- selling all this product in the name of a player so injury prone he cant jog w/o causing himself great harm

  5. Wow these actually look amazing for me(PG). it looks like a runner with amazing traction and a sturdier upper. I’ll bet you’re foot has to catch up with this shoe haha.

  6. They should make the Englewood line more geared towards outdoor use because that’s all d rose played on growing up and it would be a cool nod towards the outdoor courts in chicago
