The adidas Yung-1 ‘Collegiate Navy’ releases today alongside its much more striking — and possibly Goku-inspired — ‘Hi-Res Orange’ colorway. Here’s an on-foot look for those considering picking up the model.
Just in time for the bulky sneaker-dad shoe wave, the adidas Yung-1 is one of many ’90s runners adidas is bringing back. Last week, we reported that silhouettes like the Ultra Tech and Falcon W would be making triumphant returns this summer.
The adidas Yung-1 features a mesh upper with some nubuck overlays. The shoe uses a traditional lace closure, opts for a wide fit, and rides atop a sculpted lightweight EVA midsole. adidas’ stabilizing Torsion system should offer some support.
The adidas Yung-1 releases today, June 21, at 10 AM ET for $120 at adidas.com. While just two colorways have debuted today many more will be coming fast so hold tight if these don’t do it for you. The brand will also be releasing the Yung Chasm at a lower price point.
