Nike has begun its shift towards using knit fabric in a lot of its newer products. Knit fabric has already made its entrance through cleats for football, but the addition to the glove family should be interesting.
As a personal preference, I have gone away from Nike gloves because they have lacked the durability to last me through a good stretch of games. Rips and tears in the materials have forced me to spend a lot more on gloves than I planned. The innovation of using knit fabric is very exciting because this could prove to be an extremely durable glove with good ventilation. As a student-athlete or recreational player, the goal is to have a pair of gloves that can last the long haul. The gloves come with the usual MagniGrip which does well catching balls and the pre-curved fingers that allow a better range of motion.
This seems like it should be a pretty solid glove and Nike is going in the right direction incorporating more knit fabric into products. Do you guys think that this will be a better glove and would reviews for gloves help you pick the right one? Comment Below! If interested in the Nike Vapor Knit Gloves, they can be purchased at Nike.
Could these be used for different skill positions such as Quaterback? I can’t throw for crud in the rain, and I need a reliable glove to be able to throw with.
yes, i suggest buying it for any position. ive played highschool and now im a longhorn and gosh these gloves are top notch for catchng and even through.
