For those who loved Michael Jordan’s Gatorade commercials back in the early ’90s, you may be in for a treat during this holiday season.
With the upcoming Air Jordan 6 and Air Jordan 32 Gatorade releases, the Jordan x Gatorade collaboration delivers another interesting silhouette to complement the collection. This rendition of the classic Air Jordan 1 is in Gatorade Frost blue, with orange tan leather, Nike branding on the tongue, and a Gatorade lightning bolt logo at the quarter.
Inside the shoes, the left insole has a Gatorade logo while the right insole carries a Nike Air logo. The Grass Green background on the rest of the insole clearly draws inspiration from the iconic Gatorade green bottle.
As far as the tech specs go, the Gatorade x Air Jordan 1 appears to be the same as the previous retro releases.
According to US11, the release date is set for December 26, and there should be an orange Gatorade Air Jordan 1 coming soon as well. We will update on the pricing as soon as more information becomes available.
