This summer is going to be huge for Brandblack. The brand has teased a number of new and innovative models, the latest being the Brandblack Delta.
The Delta will use a knit upper, Jetlon Lite, an internal collar, and the first-ever Vibram basketball outsole (which uses the segmented blade traction used on the Rare Metal). Recently, Brandblack founder David Raysse gave everyone a look at his design process behind the Delta.
There is still no official word on price or release date yet but we’re excited to get Vibram onto the hardwood. Are you?

I haven’t been this excited for a performance release in a long time ?????
Whate are the benefits of a Vibram outsole tho?
Grip. Vibram’s rubber compound, much like Continental’s, grips surfaces like crazy.
No outdoor hooping, vibram melts like butter outdoors.
I would be more excited if the outsole was for outdoors…. but it obviously isn’t =(
Yeah man. I know that it can be done where an outsole transitions to the blacktop and indoors seamlessly. I just really want to see that more.
same here. I dont care for the look but if the rubber was super durable I’d be interested. Vibram immediately makes you think outdoor products (boots and sandals)
This actually looks great. I’m optimistic about how the shoe performs on court
I love the look of the olive(?) pair. Looks super nice
these are dope! i really hope brandblack expands and becomes something big like nike or adidas, they deserve it.
dame 3 done right
Wonder what’s with the Jetlon Lite? Sounds like a downgrade to Jetlon Plus/EVL :/
The founder of BB said that it’s 20% lighter so they shave off about 2oz on average. He wrote that on IG when someone asked.
Gorgeous

Is that an inside view of the tooling in one of those pictures above? If so, is there something on top of that apart from an insole? Those squares don’t look like they’re going to be comfortable at all with only an insole sitting on top of them. Would there be something filling in those squares?
Dude thats the inside of the cupped outsole, not the midsole.
So is the Future Legend Lows still a thing or naw?
I remember commenting, why didn’t Nike ever use something like vibram for their soles on May 22, 2017
