The Black/ Infrared23 Air Jordan 6 Retro is on everyone’s radar… unfortunately, that includes the resellers looking to gain a profit off of people’s passion. If you are able to grab your pair at retail, this is a great sight to see as they look great, much better than the 2010 version.

If my hookup can hold a pair for me I’ll get them. Otherwise it’ll be another time. Not a must have in my collection but OG colors just have that nostalgic feeling.

My H.O.H has a pair under glass. The tongues are too short. What is it with Jordan and the VI with these tongues this year. At least my 2010 were built correctly. Even my retro+ pair is better than these.

These were the very first pair of Jordans I owned when they originally released. Had to beg my mom to buy them. I would love to cop just for nostalgia.

How did you find them overall?
I don’t recall them being that great, but I also didn’t have much experience with performance shoes back then either, so I’m kind of interested to see how they’d perform today.
I honestly don’t remember how they performed, but I wore them every single day until I grew out of them. Just looking at the traction on these, I wouldn’t ball in them now. Totally a kick off court only.
Same here man. I think I wore these shoes out more than any other shoe I’ve had. I completely demolished them. The black upper had most of the color scraped off, the outsole was completely trashed with both outdoor and indoor usage. I did the same thing to the Jordan 7s. After those two models I started looking after my shoes a bit more.
I remember how they felt….like bricks if youre playing ball in them…U would need an insole and the traction wasnt good either. This is one of those shoes you just rock casually and never hoop in.
I would LOVE for my slam dunk 6s to have a higher toungue and I thought they would till I got them in hand. I was very very disappointed. Same happened with my sport blue 6s. Due to that, I will not cop any more 6s. There is one exception, if the DB 6s retro I’ll melt for them.
I got the carmines and was extremely upset about
the tongues.was gonna get a few other colors but they were all short. In not sending my cash on shoes that aren’t built right
These are SICK!..already got these locked up on release day!…Quality looks 2b aight???…luvin the 3M, Leather seems 2b a hulluva lot better than previous models?, hopefully that “Infrared” isnt to “Pink..ish tho?, and not sure what everyone above is sayin bout the hieght of the tongue tho?…goin by the pics above it looks 2b the same as the OGs?..IMO!… overall these LOOK like better quality materials.

Dude they are on point.. i got mine and the tongue is a little bit higher on them combared to my carmines. The quality of this shoe is really good, the nubuck upper is pretty good, in addition they dont crease that much which is a plus
Personally saying.. i got them early and the quality is not bad at all. Its a little tighter than the previous releases of the Retro 6, the front encapsulated air bag is more comfortable on these
