A few weeks back, we reported on the adidas Crazy 1 (or The Kobe) getting a lifestyle makeover, but no release details or price was announced.
Now, adidas has announced a release date and a price for the adidas Originals Crazy 1 ADV, and it’s soon, like next week soon.
Set to release on August 5 for $140, the adidas Originals Crazy 1 ADV features a premium grey nubuck upper with an interior comprised of a neoprene booty that provides adequate comfort and fit.
The tooling remains the same as the basketball versions, so in terms of performance, the traction and cushioning should be up to par, though any on court usage is dependent on the individual as these are meant for lifestyle purposes (akin to the Crazy 8 Primeknit).

A slight change from the original build that we reported on is that the tooling on the retail pair is now in off-white, to contrast the predominantly grey upper. Initially, the tooling was in white but it appears that adidas has decided that the off-white tooling would better translate “the aggressive design language of the early 2000s into the minimalist aesthetic of 2017.”
Will you be copping this reimagining of an adidas classic sneaker? Or will you wait for a Boost/Primeknit version to release? Let us know in the comment section below.

This looks like a brandblack shoe.
not really.
Tooling looks similar but it’s not the same
Herringbone is still used and because no official word has been said, I’m speculating it’s still EVA.
Hope they would use Bounce for the mid-sole, really clean look BTW.
