The adidas Trae Young 1 is the first-ever signature sneaker for the Atlanta Hawks star. Sneakerheads didn’t seem too psyched for this release. Once they officially dropped, however, the performance features these kicks came equipped with were too good to be ignored.
The shoe features herringbone traction, a feet-you-wear-ish outsole, exposed Boost in the heel, and a full-length Lightstrike. The shoe is as minimal as it gets yet still very supportive. The traction is great in normal conditions, and the sizing can be tricky, but it is a great all-around performance model

Trae Young had a great year in 2021. The Atlanta Hawks point guard averaged 25 points per game with 9 dimes and 4 boards all while establishing himself as one of the most electrifying players in the league. Young and the Hawks were one of the biggest surprises of the 2021 season and put the league on notice that the Hawks were a force to be reconed with.
Trae started off the season in the Future Naturals adidas Next Level but soon switched over to his signature shoe. The flagship colorway is inspired by the quintessential movie theater drink: Icee. Trae is ice cold on the court so, the colorway is very appropriate.
