This Nike Mamba Focus reminds us of the Nike Elite days.
Sporting a clean white/gold makeup, this Nike Mamba Focus gives us Nike Elite vibes from years past.
With its off-white textile build and translucent outsole, this version of the Nike Mamba Focus initially looks no different than any of the previously released versions. However, the simple additional of metallic gold instantly reminds us of when Nike Basketball used to “upgrade” its currently signature models with Kevlar, Carbon Fiber, additional cushion, and lightweight builds. Oh, and let’s not for the ridiculously inflated price points.
Nowadays we just get one product, which is how it sort of should be. As a consumer I feel we should be getting Nike’s best product the first time around and not have to wait around until Playoff time to have a chance at trying what the brand may consider to be its “Elite” version.
