Puma is making a strong push in 2018 and the Hybrid Rocket is the brand’s latest creation for running.
Featuring a combination of NRGY and IGNITE, the Puma Hybrid Rocket sports an interesting midsole — which many will either love or hate — that cushions each step with a rubbery feel. Yes, the beads that make up the midsole are what many know as Boost, but the implementation is a bit different as they’re not heat molded and expanded. This makes the feel a bit less bouncy than Boost but with the combination of IGNITE foam it ends up being just as comfortable.
The tooling is also segmented which feels great for those that want to have a free-feeling sneaker instead of walking on stiffer tooling throughout the day.

The upper seems nice. But the cushion’s aesthetics gives me an uncomfortable feeling though.
