Even though the shoe has been out for months, the Lebron Soldier X is seeing new concepts and colorways for the new NBA season (no doubt because the LeBron XIV (14) has been pushed WAY back).
The newest series is based on the NBA Championship games and what LBJ wore during those battles. Then there is this: the LeBron Soldier X ‘Battle Grey’. Nike and Jordan Brand are outfitting their athletes in grey colorways of their signature shoes for the opening week of the NBA season. Trust us, there are more details coming, but the grey colorways of the KD9, Jordan XXXI, and the Soldier X are scheduled for release from October 27 through the 29.
However, we at WearTesters got our hands on a pair of the ‘Battle Grey’ Soldier X a week early (thank you, you know who you are). Dressed up with a suede toebox and raised gold LBJ logo on the midfoot strap, the shoe still keeps the performance aspects of the normal colorways (performance review from Nightwing is here), including the fit straps and the large Zoom units under the heel and toe (for a deconstructed view, click here).
Definite release dates and pricing are coming soon; Nike is releasing the info this week, so as soon as we get know, so will you. Until then, enjoy the photos and details below, and below that, enjoy the conversation.
