Jordan Brand continues their running category with the upcoming launch of the Flight Runner 2.
The original Flight Runner was a bit on the thick side, which is a little different than modern running models, however, they’ve retooled things to bring you closer to the ground while still providing great comfort and cushion. They’ve brought over the Flight Flex outsole, and added Cushlon to the mix – which is an awesome foam cushion with a high rubber content for rebound and responsiveness. Dynamic Flywire is in place for lateral movements as these are not just runners, they’re meant to handle training conditions too. Materials consist of Fuse and mesh for lightweight support and structure.
If you are interested, the Jordan Flight Runner 2 will be available at select retail stores and Jordan.com for a suggested retail price of $120 beginning in February.
Durability? with literally no rubber on outsole?
there is a little rubber on the toe and heel it reminds me of the older nike free soles which were mostly foam and mine lasted 3 years or so
120? For a runner/trainer with no outsole… worst bang for your buck option right now IMO
2 questions:
Any news on a Flight Flex Trainer 2? I love my pair. It fits my needs as far as working out.
And how does Cushlon’s durability compare w/ Phylon as far as bottoming out?
Any word on the heel-toe drop mm? More companies are starting to publish that number, but Nike/Jordan seem to avoid publishing it, even on the Free line.
