Jordan Brand is giving the ladies new builds of classic sneakers, like the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 11, as well as more modern styles like the Air Jordan Rebel.
First, the Air Jordan 1 Utility Pack showcases the brand’s new Flight Utility design language with four re-imaginations of the Air Jordan 1. The shoes, which include the Air Jordan 1 Jester XX, Air Jordan 1 Rebel XX, Air Jordan 1 High, and Air Jordan 1 High Zip, flaunt an interesting mix of materials and colors.
New premium builds of the Air Jordan 1 will also be releasing for Holiday 2018 and that means we should expect the Air Jordan 1 ‘Rookie of the Year’ and Air Jordan 1 High Premium Racer Blue.
The former, which uses Golden Harvest and black tones, pays homage to Michael Jordan’s historic rookie season and is inspired by the outfit he wore the day he accepted his ROY award. A quote from his acceptance speech, as well as stats from MJ’s rookie season, are featured on the detached collar flaps. Expect the Air Jordan 1 ‘Rookie of the Year’ to release in unisex sizing.
The Air Jordan 1 High Premium Racer Blue is a true-to-its-original build of the 1985 Air Jordan 1…except it uses a “soft buck” upper instead of leather. Metallic Wings logos at the ankle add a small flourish to the monochromatic sneaker.
Next up for Jordan Brand’s coming release season is the Air Jordan Rebel ‘Concord’; according to the brand, this shoe combines the elegance of the Air Jordan 11 ‘Concord’ with this new Air Jordan 1 silhouette from The 1 Reimagined series. Patent leather and icy outsoles keep this style simple and clean.
The Air Jordan 4 NRG ‘Fire Red’ is the latest all-red sneaker from the Jumpman. It is inspired by the holiday season and flaunts contrasting gum outsoles. Interestingly, the upper is layered, so over time (or with sandpaper) an ornamental design beneath the Fire Red will become visible.
Finally, the Air Jordan 11 ‘Olive Lux’ offers a premium take on the classic Air Jordan 11 for her. The shoe employs a soft green suede upper and translucent gum outsoles. Metallic details at the aglets, Jumpman logo, and lace deubrés add to the luxe build.
As usual, Jordan Brand has not announced release dates or pricing information with any of these styles so stay tuned for updates.
