The warm weather of summer allows for interesting footwear. One of our favorite Japanese brands has cooked up the Asics Gel-Sight ‘Blush’ for a new take on a old school runner.
I enjoy almost all of the Asics runners from the 90s because of how unique the designs are; the Gel-Sight, like many of the more popular Asics runners (the Gel-Lyte III, Gel Lyte V, etc), features interesting overlays and aggressive styling. Done up in this ‘Blush’ colorway, the light pastel look keeps things simple and muted while staying unique.
With Asics’ proprietary Gel cushioning in the heel these will make for good casual wear shoes. Every time I wear my GL3s they get more comfortable. Asics generally uses high quality nubuck so the uppers of this shoe should be buttery.
The Asics Gel-Sight ‘Blush’ releases tonight at 12 midnight EDT online at PackerShoes.com and will retail for $140. How do you feel about the muted pastel tones on this latest Asics offering? Sound off below.
