The Air Jordan MTM Pack gets a release date, and they won’t be easy to obtain.
According to Nike Lab, the pack will be available tomorrow – June 13 – exclusively at their P75 location in Paris. If you’re in Paris you’ll need to enter the raffle in order to have a chance at grabbing a pair at Jordan.com/paris. They also mentioned that other pairs would be available soon available on June 27 at select Nike Lab locations worldwide so if you miss out tomorrow then you may have another shot depending on your location.

This concept for the 30th annv. celebration of the Jordan is the best one yet and may remain so. Look at that xx9! The execution of the designer’s intent is flawless. It’s just such a shame that that same thought didn’t transfer over to the design on the 1. Why on earth did they not make the actual AJ1 as we all know and live it, with all of its parts intact and made out of the same wovenbupper as the xx9? WHY? Simply printing the swoosh on the shoe instead of stitching a proper one in the right material on the shoe, cheapens the 1 tremendously. Not to mention all of the other obvious omissions, invalidates the whole concept. Thus attention to detail and these, imo, necessary inclusions might have actually deserved it’s outrageous price point. The xx9 is brilliant and worth its wieght, absolutely, but the 1? WTF. Furthermore, they made a huge mistake making this marquee, 30th anniversary, celebratory pack a Paris and Lab exclusive. Jordan was an American Basketball player not a runway modle from Milan. Thus pack missed so many marks. It should have been the largest general release if the year as a gift to us fans. Instead its another unattainable exclusive, priced out of reach for the majority of Air Jordan’s sneaker enthusiasts. So much more than just SMH, it’s more like a TMO and a CS – totally missed opportunity and a crying shame. It seams that JB felt like the only ones worth celebrating 30 years with were the ones with deep pockets that will buy anything Jordan attached to it.
You’re missing the whole point of the weave material. Its to showcase all the different designs and versatility it has with creating graphics. That’s why the AJ1 is done with a single piece of weave.
