Memorial Day was yesterday but the Air Jordan 7 ‘Tinker Alternate’ could very well have released for the U.S. holiday that just passed (it’s just so ‘Murica).
These red, white, and blue Air Jordan VIIs are…interesting. This mock up was supposedly Tinker Hatfield’s alternate look for the Olympic VIIs that actually released. Of course, these still feature hits of gold, but they lose the silver and opt for much more blue. The red also looks to be a shade or two lighter than what was found on the Olympic VIIs. New additions are the American flag at the heel behind the number 9 and the splatter/fade midsole.
According to someone that has been on the money about release dates in the past, the Air Jordan 7 ‘Tinker Alternate’ should release on August 16 for $190.
The question is: is everything Tinker does great? Because these seem to be proof otherwise (and so may be the Air Max Zero)…but what do you all think? Are the ‘Tinker Alternate’ VIIs better than the original? Or worth $190? Sound off below.
