Good news for adidas Basketball fans, for those of you who missed out on the adidas adiZero Rose 1 there is now another option besides trying to scour eBay looking for an authentic pair at a decent price.
adidas has released a similar model called the adidas Thorn LT. Basically it’s a strip down model however, it has most of the same features like the Puremotion, adiPRENE+ and the Torsion system. The greatest part is that they are pretty cheap, average prices are around the $70 mark.
There are two colorways available (seen after the jump) and you can even get them for a slight discount over at Shoes.com
nightwing what do you think is the main difference between these and the og 1’s performance wise?
Well i havent played in the 1s but the main difference i can see would be that the geofit collar isnt on this model, which is good, and the midsole is inside the upper material which isnt as great as having a visible midsole but they should work out just fine overall.
i tried these on and they actually suck so much worse than the 1’s i would get em.
I may try them out, need to try a pair on though.

I don’t think puremotion is there. Although same outsole pattern is present, the puremotion pods are missing.
It was stated as a tech spec so who knows. If i can find a pair to check out in person i will grab them though.
I like drose 1 better then these they also did the same thing with the drose 1.5
It’s a solid shoe the original thorn was out first and the stripes added for D-Rose.
