Foot Locker has opened a huge 17,000 square foot west coast flagship store in a premium retail location: right at the corner of Hollywood and Highland.
The enormous glass facade and Foot Locker signage are instantly recognizable, and sure to draw in many of the tourists that walk this part of LA (the Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiere was right across the street from the new store).
The new store is 17,000 square feet of premium retail space that features many of the Foot Locker, Inc. brands (like SIX:02, which is upstairs, and House of Hoops) and has over 7,200 square feet dedicated just to Foot Locker.
The new Hollywood and Highland Foot Locker flagship features premium presentations of many brands including Nike Sportswear, Asics, Vans, Champion, Stance, and New Era. Nike, Jordan, and adidas all have their own spaces within the new store. Good luck grabbing the Curry 4 at this Foot Locker though — there are no Under Armour products on the shelves here.
This flagship store is the 54th Foot Locker in the area, the seventh SIX:02, and makes for a total of over 115 Foot Locker, Inc. locations in southern California.
Customers began lining up for the store’s restocks and limited releases last night (doors open early this morning at around 7AM). This morning’s releases included first come, first serve pairs of the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘Blue Tint’, the Nike Air Force 1 High ‘Just Don’, the Air Jordan 1 ‘Royal’, and the entire Gatorade x Air Jordan ‘Like Mike’ collection (besides for the upcoming Air Jordan 1 four-pack).
Tonight, Brandon Ingram will be at the Hollywood and Highland location to greet fans and tomorrow, the store has a special Gatorade activation planned…
Let us know if you’re planning on stopping by the new location and share what you think about it in the comments.
