Under Armour has launched their new ClutchFit technology! A high-performance, lightweight, synthetic material will act like a “second skin” for athletes. This material will flex and “activate” under pressure. UA’s new material moves away from the Nike and Adidas “knit” materials (FlyKnit and Primeknit, respectively) and favors what seems to be a lightweight plastic polymer. From the video, it seems like ClutchFit will first be implemented in UA’s cleats, but will probably make it’s way onto their basketball and average wear footwear models.
