Get Up Close and Personal with the Jordan CP3.X AE

The Jordan CP3.X AE has officially released overseas in two colorways. Today, we get a detailed look of a pair that looks lifestyle inspired.

This colorway is gorgeous. The shoe on the other hand — not so much. Not sure why they felt the need to redesign the midsole when the tech hasn’t changed at all but it altered the clean lines the original tooling offered. It would have went well with the new streamlined upper had they kept things the same.

In terms of tech specs, the CP3.X AE features a dynamic Flywire lacing system with lockdown straps that are integrated into the tongue for great lockdown. Flyweave makes it way onto the upper while the midsole houses a forefoot articulated Zoom Air unit sitting atop a gum rubber outsole.

No word on when the Jordan CP3.X AE will land Stateside, but you can grab these now in two colorways overseas at Gallery2.

Let us know what you think about the redesign and if you were interested in the shoes performance you can head over the the Jordan CP3.X Performance Review here. These should perform like the originals as nothing has changed other than a couple of aesthetic features.

  1. Blandest signature ever, CP3 needs to abandon the seatbelts(they used to be wide-footer friendly, but not since), and get back to Podulon cushioning, this non-cushioning setup is trash.

      1. They really need to use podulon more. I think its better than some of those forefoot zoom setups that you can’t feel. Underrated.
