A Detailed Look at the Jordan Apex Utility

An official look at the upcoming Jordan Apex Utility.

I just discussed my thoughts on the recently released Jordan Proto-React and now we have a detailed look at the Jordan Apex Utility.

While the Proto-React was a model I didn’t connect with, this version is one I kind of like. Not enough to want to buy them, but enough to at least see where they fit into the grand scheme of things in terms of product and lineage.

This version Jordan Apex Utility removes the weird shroud while exposing the Air Jordan 1 Flyknit beneath it. This allows the sneaker to directly point to the brand and its past while bringing things into the present with the Flyknit build, utility additions and React tooling.

There is currently no word on when this version of the Jordan Apex Utility will release but feel free to leave your thoughts on them below in the comment section. Is this version better than the Proto-React or the Proto-720?

  1. I hooped in these and they are not very responsive. When you go to cut the flyknit material gives too much causing your foot to slide when trying to change directions.

It’s unfortunate, because they are rather comfortable, and I love the look of them.
