Every four years the best soccer playing countries from around the world come together and battle it out to see who will be victorious in the FIFA World Cup.
In commemoration of this event, Nike is set to release a pack that includes the Air Max 90, Air Max Plus, and the Air Zoom Spiridon. All three sneakers feature the flags of the countries participating in the World Cup, as well as others, adorned throughout the upper of the sneaker to go along with an all-white base.
There isn’t a concrete release date Stateside for these pairs yet. However, according to Japanese retailer Billys-Tokyo on Instagram, the Air Max 90, Air Max Plus and Air Zoom Spiridon ‘World Cup’ are set to release on June 1. Pricing, for Japan, will be 14,040 Japanese Yen (approx. $130 USD) for the Air Max 90 and 17,280 Japanese Yen (approx. $160 USD) each for the Air Max Plus and Air Zoom Spiridon.
The pack is already popping up at additional retailers in Japan and the EU so stay tuned for a Stateside release.
