This adidas Marquee Boost PE Pays Tribute to John Wall and His Childhood Friends ‘Five Deep’

It looks like the adidas Marquee Boost will be worn by John Wall as the ‘Five Deep’ Player Exclusive surfaces.

While we’ve had a couple of colorways surface online, this John Wall PE confirms that the adidas Marquee Boost was designed for performance.

Wall’s old adidas PE branding is displayed prominently on the tongue while adidas pays homage to his childhood friends from Raleigh, North Carolina with the ‘Five Deep’ label on the collar. In true adidas fashion, each colorway looks to offer a slightly different build along the eyestay: the neoprene collar and knitted forefoot look to be the only aspects carried over from one color to the next.

The adidas Marquee Boost is currently scheduled to arrive at retailers on December 1 for $120. However, this John Wall PE may not be available until December 8 and being a PE, the price may also see a slight increase.

  1. Im intrigued by this shoe more than any other right now. Boost, full herringbone, a wide stable base, and that nice neoprene collar thats on a bunch of adidas shoes this year. I hope they use that softer strobel board that they had on the harden 3 to feel the boost better. We have no crazy explosive this year, but this looks like the closest adidas shoe to it.

  2. If this pair has a durable outsole, then we might have a gem of an outdoor shoe. Full length herringbone boost. Glad to see less story driven outsoles and the return of the tried and true.
