After about six years, the Air Jordan 5 Retro ‘Laney’ is back.
It has been about six years since the Air Jordan 5 Retro ‘Laney’ last dropped and Jordan Brand decided that it has been too long. Initially releasing in 2000, the colorway last saw a release in 2013, as evidenced by Nightwing2303’s detailed look and review.
However, this upcoming ‘Laney’ colorway differs from the 2013 iteration in that the colors are inverted: the upper is blue instead of white, the outsole is yellow instead of charcoal and the tongue is now grey instead of blue. In terms of cushioning, the men’s version has an encapsulated forefoot and heel Air unit while the boy’s sizing has a polyurethane midsole with the aforementioned Air units.

The Air Jordan 5 Retro ‘Laney’ is set to drop on January 26 for $200 in men’s sizing, $150 in boy’s sizing and $90 for preschool. They will be available at retailers such as Eastbay, Finish Line and Foot Locker on release date.
