Test Shoot: BAIT x Reebok Classics Question ‘Snake 2.0’

Unpopular opinion: the BAIT x Reebok Question ‘Snake 2.0’ is 2018 All-Star release I was most excited for.

Several months ago I found out that BAIT was going to revamp its original Question ‘Snake’ for All-Star. Since, I have pretty much counted down the days until I could get this sneaker in-hand — and man, it did not disappoint.

The BAIT x Reebok Question ‘Snake 2.0’ flaunts several different premium materials including deep black patent leather at the toe and mudguard, supple suede on the tongue, and textured snakeskin-like embellishments at the side panels and heels. The interiors are lined with premium leather as well so you will need to break in this pair of sneakers for the best fit.

A personal note: the asymmetrical tongue used on the Reebok Question has always been my biggest peeve about the sneaker, and it’s why I don’t wear it most of the pairs I have. This suede tongue, which is flat, does not lean over to one side after a couple steps.

BAIT and Reebok pulled out all the stops for All-Star Weekend this year; the West East collection is a simple yet effective reinterpretation of three Reebok classics, and the two-part “Ideation Department” pack is a gem for sneaker nerds and fans of the Vector brand.

The BAIT x Reebok Question ‘Snake 2.0’ drops on February 17 for $180 and it is limited to 600 pairs. The shoe will see its first release at the BAIT x Reebok NBA All-Star Pop-Up shop in Los Angeles. To purchase from outside of LA enter BAIT’s raffle; winners will be contacted on February 20.

BAIT has a lot more coming for All-Star Weekend so stay tuned.
