The upcoming PUMA Clyde Hardwood has been officially unveiled.
Fresh off of the PUMA Legacy release, another hoops silhouette appears prime for the upcoming NBA season. PUMA brand athletes and New York Knicks lottery picks from the last two years Kevin Knox and RJ Barrett will be keeping the legacy of Clyde Frazier — who was also in attendance for the unveil — alive in Madison Square Garden.
Shown in some simple and clean colorways, the Clyde Hardwood modern materials in the forefoot with classic raw materials, notably a nice-looking tumbled leather and hairy suede around the rear and heel portion. This model will also introduce a new cushion from the brand called PROFOAM, which we are eager to find more details on. While the traction was not captured in the following posts, we can expect a mix between variations of herringbone and the classic pattern we have become familiar with in the Clyde series — if NBA 2K20’s scan of the sneaker is any indication, at least.
As stated by @pumahoops will release on October 18 with pricing yet to be revealed. It’s only a matter of time before we begin discussion in our WearTesters Discord community, so be sure to check that out if you are interested in becoming a member and enjoy the @slamkicks images below.
