Seems like 2016 is the year of the Air Jordan 12 Retro and we’re not a complaining. Since the past few releases, Jordan Brand is trying to give us a slew of new and different colorways.
The Air Jordan 12 is one of the more memorable and comfortable Jordan models to date. Although this particular colorway was never released, it almosts gives a neutral take with some partial homage to MJ’s Alma Mater, University of North Carolina.
The shoe features a grey tumbled leather along the upper with white overlays along the mid/forefoot. University Blue accents are visible along the “Jumpman” plate on the side of the shoe and on the inner heel tab and logo on tongue. The cushion setup is full-length Zoom (the website states incorrectly Max Air) while the rest of the outsole is finished with a white/grey rubber with a visible grey/University Blue carbon shank plate.
Although not a colorway worn by your Airness from back in the day, it’s still a nice shoe to rock during the summer casually, or if someone wanted to get buckets on the court also. The Air Jordan 12 ‘Wolf Grey’ is slated for release on June 25 with a retail price set at $190 and it will be available at select Jordan Brand retail stores.
Will you be copping? Will this colorway be stashed away next year’s basketball season? Let us know what you think in the comment section.
