The Nike Air Flight 89 is one of Chris’ favorite shoes of all time. He was a kid who didn’t have enough money for the Air Jordan 4 in 1989 and ended up with Air Flight 89s instead. Late last year, he even recently reviewed the retro. Chris has big nostalgia for this model and you get to watch as all that nostalgia gets dragged through the mud. This is pretty different from any video we’ve done before but the story time in this one is unparalleled.
What’s in the video?
In the video, Chris provides detailed information from all the usual categories, providing the in depth information you need. He supplies expert level opinions on the materials, cushioning, traction, support, and fit. Here’s some of what he discusses:
- The crazy ordering process Chris experienced
- Why he ordered two pairs
- Material deep dive
- Poor craftsmanship on both pairs
- Shawn Kemp wore them?
And as an added bonus, Chris talks about why the shoes he got look fake.
