Nike released the Nike Adapt BB 2.0 over the 2020 NBA All-Star weekend and we have a detailed look and review for those curious about the shoe.
There have been a few upgrades made between the original Nike Adapt BB and the 2.0 model. The most notable being a change in the cushioning.
Cushlon was the main cushion on the original version — something many consumers were upset with given the $350 price point. This 2.0 model still uses Cushlon as the midsole cushion, however, Nike’s Zoom Turbo was added to the forefoot. This is a welcomed addition to the Adapt BB line as the shoe feels great under-foot. And at its new $400 price point — they’d better.
The lacing structure has been altered a bit to make the overall fit and lockdown better. I’ve been playing in the shoe for about five days now and the way they feel and play is greater than the original.
Materials are a slight upgrade is certain areas. The synthetic sections on the original model have been replaced with raw materials that look and feel nice. However, there is a lot of TPU material which gives the overall model a plasticky look and feel.
We hope you enjoy our Nike Adapt BB 2.0 detailed look and review. Stay tuned for the full performance review in the coming weeks. They’re currently available in most sizes at Nike.com.
