When adidas unveiled its latest basketball sneaker, the Pro Bounce 2018, it announced that the shoe would be worn by its entire NBA roster including Zack LaVine, Kyle Lowry, Nick Young, Jaylen Brown, and many more. This morning, a PE for Kristaps Porzingis dropped out of nowhere.
Porzingis’ Pro Bounce PE features a dark New York Knicks colorway with orange splatter at the midfoot and KP branding on the tongue. The clear outsoles flaunt striking unicorn graphics beneath them, an homage to the nickname Kevin Durant gave the Latvian hooper in 2017.
The Pro Bounce is designed for the all-around player and utilizes adidas’ ForgeFiber, a TPU-coated yarn, at high force zones for better support. Force-mapped zones on the outsole, which uses concentric circles for its traction pattern, should enhance traction while an articulated GeoFit comfort collar should offer support without restriction.
The shoe rides atop comfortable Bounce cushioning and a TPU midfoot shank for stability and torsional rigidity. You can learn more by checking out Nightwing2303’s adidas Pro Bounce Detailed Look and Review below.
