And they’re inspired by the Air Jordan 4.
A new colorway of the Jordan Fly ’89 surfaced online and it’s dressed in a purple suede/nubuck upper. The silhouette is a stripped-down full-race lightweight basketball shoe with ventilation via instantly recognizable mesh-filled cutouts.
The shoe grabs historic elements from the Air Jordan 4, like the its wing lacing details and heel tab, but sits atop a modern Lunarlon sole. The Jordan Fly ’89 normally retails for $110, but there is no word on when this purple colorway will arrive Stateside. Keep an eye out at your local retailers and we’ll update you.
