DeMarcus Cousins Debuts the Puma Uproar; Expected to Release This Month

DeMarcus Cousins debuted the upcoming Puma Uproar, a brand-new basketball shoe from Puma Hoops.

With a treat like this, it was no problem that LeBron James took the night off to recover. The Puma Uproar debuted tonight by DeMarcus Cousins in pre-game warm ups, and man, was it a pleasant sight.

Hinted by the brand even before the Clyde Disrupt unveiling, this new silhouette shows up in a simple black and white colorway. Puma is leaving us ready to get a better look with a blend of materials featured on the upper and what appears to be a taste of the brand’s Hybrid cushioning system, which blends IGNITE Foam and NRGY beads — notably seen on the Puma Hybrid Rocket runner and within the cupsole found on the Puma Clyde Court.

According to release calendars, we can expect the model to begin rolling out on February 16 and you already know we at WearTesters are excited to get our hands on a pair once available.

What are your thoughts on the Puma Uproar and the company diversifying it’s lineup? We knew they wouldn’t re-enter the basketball market without having a few new models lined up, but we didn’t think they’d be ready to release another new model this soon. Be sure to leave your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned to for updates.

  1. Another good looking shoe from puma. They seem to have their aesthetics on point. I wonder if theres any cushion in the forefoot.

  2. I’ve been contemplating the Clyde Court, but always held back by wanting to see a subsequent model since Puma is just getting back into this. I mean apparently the Clyde Court wasn’t bad at all, but I’d hope that translates to a considerably better design after.

And aesthetic does sell – in a way that it looks good and has me curious as to how it plays. I’m thinking day one for these if I can get my hands on it.

      1. Thanks for the heads up. Closet space is also of the essence. Otherwise I would’ve wanted to grab some Spectras and RS-X models as well.
