A fresh and clean colorway of the Zoom Pegasus Turbo will close out summer.
In an attempt to get faster times for its athletes (the ones trying to break the marathon record), Nike has consulted the most elite marathoners from Kenya to create the Zoom Pegasus Turbo.
This new sneaker does away with the carbon fiber springplate found in other top-tier $200+ Nike runners so that everyday runners can enjoy the new ZoomX cushion daily. According to Nike, ZoomX delivers the greatest energy return of any of its foams yet at around 85%.
Also, the new sculpted heel collar should allow for the wearer’s Achilles to be comfortable and cut down on chafing, be it during long-distance running or for everyday use. You can check out the Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo for more information on the technology featured on the new sneaker.
While US 11 has the Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo ‘White/Blue/Grey’ pegged for a September 1 release, retailers like Eastbay.com and Foot Locker will be stocking the shoe on September 6. Regardless, you can purchase a pair for $180 on the aforementioned sites as well as nike.com.
