Get Up Close and Personal with the ANTA KG6

ANTA has been focusing pretty heavily on their most recent acquisition – Klay Thompson – but Kevin Garnett is still around and his sixth signature sneaker with the brand is hitting retailers overseas.

We don’t know much about the shoe in terms of tech specs, but from what I can see it looks like a mix of synthetic leather and Fuse. Personally, I don’t think they look too bad; they actually look like something that would be solid to play in. Heel cushion looks to be Gel, which is ANTA’s go-to cushion source if they don’t go with straight foam, and it’s usually pretty damn comfortable.

I wish there was an easier way to obtain ANTA products, if there was then we’d see more performance reviews featuring the brand. Maybe once Klay’s shoe releases then they will have some pairs available in the Bay Area.

  1. I actually like a lot of the Anta KG line. Too bad Anta doesn’t produce anything over a size US 10 or 10.5 or else I would’ve sampled a few already. Since I live in Sacramento, was hoping against hope I would see some Rondo Anta shoes around, but I won’t be holding my breath.

  2. The traction looks like it would last forever outdoors, and I like KG’s logo a lot.
What is that a map of?

  3. I thought I saw these at Gemco back in he day or was it Zody’s, either way Target or Marshals should have them.
